We're excited to have Scarlet Leonard aka The Viking Glass Maker with us for Celtfest.
She will be trading her wares and doing demos and she'll be giving us a fabulous talk.
A 30 to 45-minute presentation covering how glass was produced in the early medieval period, how it moved around the world through trade networks, and what effect it had on society. The talk can include a live demonstration of melting glass and making a finished item. The talk is targeted towards reenactors looking to expand their knowledge and those with an interest in historical craft processes.
