CeltFest – Terms & Conditions of Entry (Including Camping)

Camping entry after: 3:00pm on Friday 28th August
Camping exit before: 10:00am on Monday 31st August
By purchasing an E-ticket and/or attending CeltFest (“the Event”), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These include the Camping Terms & Conditions which apply to all camping ticket holders and form part of the overall Terms of Entry.
1.1 All E-tickets are sold subject to availability and remain the property of the Event Organiser.
1.2 E-tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, except where required by law or expressly stated by the Organiser.
1.3 All E-tickets must be presented on entry (printed or digital) and may be subject to ID checks.
1.4 The Organiser reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any person who does not comply with these Terms & Conditions or whose behaviour is deemed unsafe, disruptive or inappropriate. No refund will be given in such circumstances.
2.1 The Organiser reserves the right to make changes to the event programme, performers, timings or facilities without prior notice.
2.2 In the event of cancellation, postponement or significant alteration, liability is limited to the face value of the E-ticket unless otherwise required by law.
2.3 The Event will take place mainly outdoors and will proceed in most weather conditions. No refunds will be issued due to adverse weather unless the Event is cancelled in full.
3.1 Attendance and camping are undertaken at your own risk. The Organiser accepts no responsibility for personal injury, loss, damage or theft, except where caused by negligence under applicable law.
3.2 Attendees must follow all safety instructions issued by event staff, stewards, security personnel, landowners or emergency services.
3.3 Dangerous, illegal, or prohibited items are not permitted and may be confiscated.
3.4 Any behaviour that is abusive, threatening, discriminatory, anti-social, or unsafe will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the Event or campsite without refund.
4.1 The possession, use or supply of illegal drugs or psychoactive substances is strictly prohibited and will be reported to the police.
4.2 Alcohol may only be consumed in accordance with licensing laws and event rules.
4.3 The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to or remove any person deemed intoxicated to a level that presents a risk to themselves or others.
5.1 Children under 16 must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
5.2 The Organiser accepts no responsibility for lost or unsupervised children.
6.1 Camping is permitted from Friday 28th August to Monday 31st August 2026 only.
6.2 Campers must arrive no earlier than 3:00pm on Friday 28th August.
6.3 All campers must vacate the campsite by 10:00am on Monday 31st August.
6.4 Failure to comply with arrival or departure times may result in refusal of entry or removal from the site without refund.
7.1 Campers must conduct themselves in a manner that does not cause nuisance, danger or offence to others.
7.2 Anti-social behaviour, including but not limited to violence, harassment, intimidation, threatening behaviour or excessive intoxication, will not be tolerated.
8.1 Camping is permitted only in designated areas and in accordance with site rules and staff direction.
8.2 Campers must respect the farmland environment, wildlife, livestock, crops, watercourses, and surrounding rural areas at all times.
8.3 Damage to land, fences, trees, hedgerows, buildings, equipment, or any farm property is strictly prohibited. Interference with livestock or wildlife is not permitted under any circumstances.
8.4 Attendees must follow marked paths and boundaries and comply with all instructions issued by event staff or landowners.
8.5 Any deliberate, reckless or negligent damage may result in removal without refund and may be reported to the landowner or relevant authorities.
8.6 Any accidental damage must be reported to event staff as soon as reasonably practicable. Failure to report damage may be treated as a breach of these Terms & Conditions.
9.1 Tents may only be erected in designated camping areas.
9.2 Only standard camping tents suitable for the allocated pitch size are permitted.
9.3 Large tents, tipis, gazebos, marquees, or structures with solid bases or fixings are prohibited unless expressly authorised in advance.
9.4 Pitch layout and spacing will be controlled to comply with fire safety, licensing and site management requirements.
9.5 Any unauthorised or unsafe structure may be removed.
All our pitches are in fields. We do not have any specific hard standing pitches available or electrical points for campers. Please ensure your vehicles are field capable, it is your responsibility to remove your caravans, campervan or mobile home at the end of the festival.
Fires
11.1 Open fires and personal fire pits are prohibited throughout the campsite and festival site.
11.2 The only permitted open fires are the designated Afon Mêl firepit and pre-approved Living History reenactors.
11.3 Fires, candles and stoves may be restricted or prohibited depending on weather and safety conditions.
BBQs
11.4 BBQs are permitted only when raised 12–18 inches (30–45cm) above ground level on a stable, non‑combustible base.
11.5 Disposable BBQs used directly on the ground are prohibited.
11.6 BBQs must be supervised at all times and positioned well clear of tents, vehicles and combustible materials.
Stoves & Naked Flames
11.7 Gas camping stoves may be used for cooking purposes only and must not be used inside tents or enclosed structures.
11.8 Any item deemed to present a fire or safety risk may be prohibited or confiscated.
12.1 Vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk.
12.2 The Organiser accepts no responsibility for damage, loss, or theft.
12.3 All traffic and parking instructions must be followed.
13.1 The Feast & Mead Bar (“the Bar”) will be run in line with UK licensing laws and local authority requirements, helping everyone enjoy a safe and welcoming festival experience.
13.2 Alcohol is available to guests aged 18 and over only. Our friendly bar staff may ask for valid photographic ID, if you appear to be under 25, so please have it with you. If suitable ID cannot be shown, we won’t be able to serve alcohol.
13.3 Bar staff reserve the right to refuse service where someone appears overly intoxicated, unwell or where serving alcohol could put that person or others at risk.
13.4 Drinks purchased from the Bar should be enjoyed responsibly and only in areas permitted under event and licensing rules.
13.5 We want everyone to have a great time. Anti‑social behaviour, excessive intoxication or failure to follow staff instructions may result in refusal of service and in some cases, removal from the Bar area, campsite or Event without refund.
13.6 While we take care to provide a safe and enjoyable environment, alcohol is consumed at your own risk. The Organiser cannot accept responsibility for illness, injury, loss or damage arising from alcohol consumption, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
13.7 Please look after yourself, your friends and fellow festival‑goers, and enjoy the Feast & Mead Bar in the spirit of CeltFest.
13.8 Please note when purchasing tickets for the Feast, it is an ‘add on’, the ticket does not gain you access to the festival.
13.9 All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a ticketed adult(s).
14.1 No amplified noise is permitted in the campsite after 11:00pm.
14.2 Drumming, percussion, chanting or similar noise-generating activities are not permitted after 11:00pm.
14.3 Noise causing nuisance at any time may result in enforcement action, including removal from the site.
15.1 Campers must use the waste and recycling facilities provided.
15.2 Littering, fly-tipping or environmental damage is prohibited and may result in removal and future exclusion.
15.3 Pitches must be left clear of rubbish on departure.
16.1 Animals are not permitted on the festival or campsite.
16.2 Assistance dogs are permitted where required by law and must be identifiable and under control at all times.
17.1 The Event may be photographed or filmed for promotional and commercial purposes. By attending, you consent to the use of your image without compensation.
17.2 Personal photography is permitted unless otherwise stated. Professional equipment may require prior written permission.
18.1 Celt fest will provide a designated Disabled Camping Area in accordance with the Equality Act 2010, subject to site capacity and operational constraints. Reasonable adjustments will be made to support disabled campers where required.
18.2 CeltFest is held at a rural, open-field site with uneven and potentially muddy ground, which may limit access for some attendees. We aim to make the Event as accessible as reasonably possible.
18.3 Allocation to the Disabled Camping Area must be requested in advance using the process specified by the organisers and is subject to availability. Disabled campers may be accompanied by essential companions, carers or personal assistants where reasonably necessary.
18.4 The organisers may request appropriate information to facilitate reasonable adjustments. 16.5 Misuse of the Disabled Camping Area may result in relocation or removal.
Accessible toilets will be available:
One in the main event area
One in the disabled camping area.
19.1 For safety and security purposes, persons and belongings may be searched on entry or while on site.
19.2 Refusal to comply may result in refusal of entry or removal.
20.1 The Organiser shall not be liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including extreme weather or government restrictions.
21.1 The Organiser’s decision in all matters relating to the Event is final.
21.2 Removal for breach of these Terms & Conditions will be without refund.
The event is held in the United Kingdom and all attendees must comply with UK law, Welsh legislation and any applicable Ceredigion County Council conditions or requirements.
Any unlawful activity may result in immediate removal and referral to the relevant authorities.
