Woduridaz Elderberry
In contrast, the elderberry dark mead is rich and robust, boasting deep berry flavours with hints of tartness and deep earthy undertones. Its dark ruby hue reflects the closing chapter of the season, as late summer mellows into autumn and the harvest draws to an end. A reflection of maturity in every sip.
Afon Mel × Nebala is a meeting of sound and season. Drawing on Nebala’s atmospheric, nature‑led music and our quietly expressive mead, the collaboration celebrates the contrast between the elderflower (Gunlathu - female) the fresh start to a new season and the elderberry (Woduridaz - male) the rich fruitful harvest.

The Great Taste Golden Fork for the best food or drink from Wales was presented to our “really impressive” 13% ABV Heather Mead. “Smooth and easy to drink with lovely honey tones”, this mead is “crisp, balanced and rounded with an almost sherry-like dryness on the finish”, making it the ideal partner for cheese.
